Description
This is an authentic Native American Navajo couping stick made with real deer skin leather, dreamcatcher, medicine bag, feathers, rabbit fur cuffs and a center beaded handle. Couping is from a french word meaning to hit or strike. To show bravery a warrior would approach an enemy and tap him with the stick, then run away unhurt. Also used as a prayer stick, it has prayer feathers attached to the dream catcher.
This Indian prayer, dance, coup stick is great for dance, meditation or medicine. It would also look great as rustic home decoration for southwest Native American decor or western ranch, log home or cabin.
Measures approximately 12" long. Photo is representative.
