These charming Day of the Dead sugar skulls are the beautiful artwork of southern Mexico. These skulls are hand painted ceramic, one of the favorites among day of the dead memorabilia.

Each year on November 2nd, Mexican families celebrate their deceased loved ones, by visiting their graves with colorful decorations, food and drink. Skulls are used as traditional decorations to celebrate the day.

This is a custom that began with the Aztecs using real skulls. Today, they are beautiful hand painted pottery art, also used for southwest decor.

Measures approximately 3.5" wide, 4" long, and 3" tall.
