Freddie & Diana Panana - Navajo
Native American artists Freddie & Diana Panana are outstanding Navajo artists from Northern Arizona's second Mesa area. Working with their hands is something they enjoy and sharing their work is a part of their lives that includes their children and grandchildren. Freddie and Diana work together to create and paint high quality Indian artifacts such as gourd rattles and medicine bags.
Their pieces reflect the traditional Navajo designs and techniques that they have learned. Made with great care and attention to detail, they take pride in the fact that their pieces feature traditional skills such as hand stitching and painting. Each piece is created with a deep love for their Native heritage.
