Description
- Authentic Native American
- Hand Etched & Dreamcatcher
- Genuine Horse Hair Pottery
This wedding vase is a high quality piece of authentic Native American, Navajo pottery. This unique piece of Navajo horse hair pottery has the traditional color bands and uses real horse hair during the firing process to decorate the rustic vase. The artist throws the pieces of horse hair onto the pottery at just the right time to cause it to stick and melt into the piece. This causes a permanent application of the horse hair to the pot and yields the famous look that everyone loves.
This wedding vase also has a hand woven dream catcher made in the center. Each piece is unique, no two are alike. The wedding vase is a very special part of American Indian culture.
The parents of a couple to be married will make or purchase a wedding vase for the couple. The vase will be used during the ceremony and then kept for the rest of their lives as a symbol of the love and unity. This piece would be perfect for any southwest style, western décor or cabin. It would also make a great special gift. Actual wedding vase is shown, measures 8" tall, 7.5" wide.
