Genuine Horse Hair Pottery Vase 3.75" -Navajo (3bc678)

This piece of authentic, high quality, Native American Navajo pottery has horsehair and the traditional color bands. It is adorned with hand etched symbols and real horsehair used during the firing process to decorate the rustic vase.

The artist throws the pieces of horsehair onto the pottery, at just the right time, causing it to stick and melt into the piece. This allows a permanent application of the horsehair to the pot and yields the famous look that collectors enjoy.
