This is an authentic Native American Zuni fetish.

Intricately handcrafted by a Zuni stone carver, this stone fetish animal was carved at Zuni Pueblo, in New Mexico. Famous around the world for their animal fetishes, the people of the Zuni Tribe create these beautiful stone fetishes in a variety of stones and animals.

It is very common for fetishes to include inlaid stone, etchings, heart lines and prayer bundles. Each fetish is unique as created by the carver with great attention to detail.
