Description
This is a handmade mini pottery vase, crafted by the Indigenous Tarahumara Indians of the Sierra Madre region of Mexico. Made by hand, in a rustic fashion, using natural mud clay and genuine rawhide coil, then cured over an open wood fire, giving its unique scorch marks, and complete with a natural pinewood base.
A vase of this style represents the types of primitive pottery that many indigenous potters of Mexico have been crafting for centuries, and still use today. This pottery vase is perfect for displaying on any shelf or office desk, and looks great in southwestern and rustic style homes.
Measures approximately 4.25" wide, 4.25" tall, on base. Actual vase is shown.
