This is a hand woven, southwestern basket with unique rustic design. The Native technique of basket weaving, using the coil method, is passed down from generation to generation. The Hopi pueblo Indians were famous for baskets woven so tightly that they could hold water.
Native American baskets are popular for southwestern decor. These traditional baskets are made by hand, artfully woven to form unique design patterns. Handwoven baskets are great for cabin, lodge or log home and rustic decorating.
