Description
This uniquely made yucca basket was made by the tarahumara Indians in the Copper Canyon region of northern Mexico. The Tarahumara are called the most primitive people in North America by National Geographic. This Native technique of basket making is generations old and has become famous as one of the signatures of the Tarahumara.
Handed down from each passing generation the art is preserved. Handwoven baskets are great for southwest style, western decor and cabin, lodge or log home or for your special rustic or Native American room.
Measures approximately 8" wide, 8" tall.
