Description
This is a unique southwest Tarahumara Indian hand woven basket. This basket was made by the Tarahumara Indians using fibers from the indigenous yucca plant and pine needles for a unique combination.
This Native technique of basket making is generations old. Handed down from each passing generation the art is preserved. Native American baskets are popular for southwestern decorating as well as western decor. These traditional baskets are made by hand and artfully woven. Handwoven baskets are great for cabin, lodge or for your special rustic or Native American room.
