Description
This is a southwest style hand woven basket. The technique of basket making using the coil method is generations old. Handed down thru each passing generation, the art is preserved.
The Hopi Indians were famous for baskets woven in this fashion that were so tight that they could hold water. Native baskets are popular for southwestern decorating as well as western decor.
These traditional baskets are made by hand and artfully woven to form unique patterns. Handwoven baskets are great for cabin, lodge or log home or for your special rustic or Native American room.
