This authentic Native American pottery pillow vase, made by hand with natural clay, features hand etched images and traditional patterns and colors of the Navajo Indians. Actual horse hair is applied to the pottery during firing and becomes a part of the piece. Intricate patterns are then hand etched without the use of patterns or templates. 

The Navajo people are famous for creating beautiful pottery pieces that have been highly desired by collectors. The art of pottery making is passed down from each generation with a rich heritage from grandparents to grandchildren in the same family who want to see their traditional skills continued.
