Description
This is a premium hand woven wool southwestern Zapotec rug. This southwest style rug is perfect as a wall hanging or floor rug. Similar to a Native American rug, this was hand woven by the famous Zapotec Indians of Oaxaca in southern Mexico. They are the descendants of the ancient Aztecs.
The Zapotec designs and colors have been handed down for generations.
This is a one-of-a-kind handwoven wool rug with rich colors, just right for cabin, ranch, lodge, log home or rustic cowboy, Indian or bunkhouse decorating.
Equally at home on the floor or on the wall, this makes a durable southwest area rug as well as a fine western tapestry. If you enjoy rustic wall decor, southwestern wall hangings or need a unique gift for someone special, hand woven Zapotec rugs are very affordable when compared with woven Navajo rugs.
100% wool. Measures approximately 30"x60", actual rug shown.
