This is an authentic Native American pottery wedding vase. This hand made Navajo wedding vase has a beautiful smooth finish with painted Indian art. The wedding has always been a prized possession and symbol of good fortune for an American Indian couple.
The parents of the couple would get together and make a special wedding vase for the couple to be married. It was to be a symbol of their marriage that they would keep the rest of their lives. During the ceremony the wedding vase was presented to the couple as a symbol of the promise of their deep love and happiness. The Indian Brave and Maiden would both drink from the wedding vase using the two spouts to seal their promise to each other.
