This is an authentic Native American Navajo Indian made rawhide mandala war shield. Rawhide is stretched over a leather wrapped hoop and laced in place with heavy matching rawhide lace. This Indian mandala is a perfect wall ornament and is a one-of-a-kind treasure that would make a great gift. Skillfully, hand painted on the front with American Indian symbols, this shield is also decorated with wooden beads, prayer feathers and antler medallions on deer skin leather straps. Measures 11.5" diameter, actual shield is shown.
