Description
This is a southwest Native American style hand woven basket. The Native American technique of basket making using the coil method is generations old. Handed down from each passing generation the art is preserved. The Hopi pueblo Indians were famous for baskets woven in this fashion that were so tight that they could hold water.
Native American baskets are popular for southwestern decorating as well as western decor. These traditional baskets are made by hand, artfully woven to form unique patterns. Handwoven baskets are great for southwestern and western decor, cabin, lodge or log home or for your special rustic or Native American room.
Measures approximately 13.5" wide and 2" tall. Actual basket shown.

Great Quality
I was doing a wall display of flat baskets for a clients home - mixing Native American , Mexican and African baskets. A few I purchased on other sites were frayed or mixed with nylon thread. This badket is beautifully made and the colors are true. Very pleased.
