This is a handcrafted Navajo Indian talking stick. Crafted from deerskin, glass seed beads, feathers and rabbit fur.
In the Native American culture, the talking stick was used to give each person in the circle a chance to speak with the respect of the others listening. Only the one holding the talking stick was permitted to speak.
This is a fabulous handmade talking stick which reveals the rich heritage of Native Americans and is very well made. It would be great accent to drum circles or sweat lodge and would also look great as a home decoration for southwest Native American decor or western ranch, log home or cabin.
