Description
This is a unique Native American dance bustle. Made with genuine horse hair this bustle is an actual Native made adornment by the Navajo Indians. This dance bustle is part of the regalia worn by an Indian dancer during a dance ceremony. The dancer would wear it on their back, tied around the waist.
Created with expensive natural horse hair, this bustle is masterly handcrafted and also features elaborate hand beading in the center. When not in use for dance, pow wow regalia, or reenactments they are usually hung prominently on the wall to display the unique workmanship. This Navajo horse hair bustle would look great as a decoration for southwest style or western decor.
