Description
- Authentic Native American
- Hand Etched Color Bands
- Genuine Horse Hair Pottery
This vase is a high quality piece of authentic Native American, Navajo pottery. This unique piece of pottery has the traditional color bands with hand etched symbols. Real horse hair is used during the firing process to decorate the rustic vase. The artist throws the pieces of horse hair onto the pottery, at just the right time, to cause it to stick and melt into the piece. This causes a permanent application of the horse hair to the pot and yields the famous look that everyone loves. Each piece is unique, no two are alike.
This Indian pottery is perfect for any southwest, western or cabin decor. It also makes a very special gift.
Actual piece is shown, measures approximately 7.5" wide, 1.75" tall.
