Description
This is an authentic Navajo Indian talking stick. In the Native American culture, the talking stick was used to give each person in the circle a chance to speak with the respect of the others listening. Only the one holding the talking stick was permitted to speak.
This is a fabulous handmade talking stick which reveals the rich heritage of Native Americans and was created by a Navajo Indian artist according to their tradition with hand beadwork, a hand-woven dreamcatcher in the center. Makes a great accent to drumming circles and sweat lodges and would also look great as a rustic office or home decorating accessory for southwest Native American decor or western ranch or cabin.
Measures approximately 11.5" long. Picture is representative.
Authentic Native American, Tribe: Navajo, Artist: Shirley Lee.
