Description
Carved Tarahumara Indian wooden bowls are authentic Native southwestern bowls or trenchers as they are called. This wooden dough bowl platter is carved by hand from native yellow pine with a rustic brown finish. This traditional southwest bowl has a flat bottom, and is rough sanded to a rustic finish.
Dough bowls are used by the Tarahumara Indian people but are sold for decoration and make great centerpieces. The rustic character of primitive dough bowls adds a sense of rustic beauty to create a natural atmosphere for log homes, cabins and cottages as well as any southwest style, western decor or country decorating. Measures 12"-14" wide, 22"-23" long. Photo is representative.
