Carved Tarahumara Indian wooden bowls are authentic Native southwestern bowls or trenchers as they are called. This wooden dough bowl platter is carved by hand from native yellow pine with a rustic brown finish. This traditional southwest bowl has a flat bottom, and is rough sanded to a rustic finish.

Dough bowls are used by the Tarahumara Indian people but are sold for decoration and make great centerpieces. The rustic character of primitive dough bowls adds a sense of rustic beauty to create a natural atmosphere for log homes, cabins and cottages as well as any southwest style, western decor or country decorating.
