Description
This is a charming 6 piece southwest Indian style hand woven mini basket set. The technique of basket making weaving used by Native Americans involves the coil method which is generations old. This art form has been preserved by handing down the technique through each passing generation.
The Hopi pueblo Indians were famous for baskets woven in this fashion that were so tight that they could hold water. Those Native American baskets have always been popular for southwestern decorating as well as western decor.
These traditional baskets are made by hand, artfully woven to form unique patterns. Handwoven baskets are great for cabin, lodge or log home or for your special rustic or Native American room.
Baskets measure approximately 3-5" diameter, actual set is shown.
