Description
This is a southwest style hand woven basket.
The Native American technique of basket making, using the coil method, is generations old. Handed down from each passing generation, the art is preserved.
The Hopi Indians were famous for baskets woven in this fashion that were so tight, they could hold water. Southwestern style baskets are popular for southwest decorating as well as western decor. This traditional basket is made by hand and artfully woven to form unique patterns. Handwoven baskets are great for cabin, lodge or for your special rustic or Native American room.
Measures approximately 6.75" wide, 4" deep.
