Description
This is a Native American style hand drum made by the Tarahumara Indians, excellent for drumming circles and rustic Native American decor. This single sided hand drum is laced on the back in the pattern of the four directions of American Indian tradition to form a handhold for drumming.
Painting the drum was done by Tony Silvas one of very few Tigua Indian artists still painting from the Ysleta Del Sur Pueblo. The designs used represent aspects of American Indian culture and Native American history.
Measures approximately 16" diameter. Simple stick drum beater included.
