This is an authentic vintage Native American Lakota Sioux rawhide knife sheath with hand beadwork as well as a handmade antler handled knife. Made according to Lakota tradition, this sheath is very unique. All stitching has been done by hand with great skill to create a classic pattern of seed beads indicative of the late 1800's. This is a very unique Indian artifact made according to Lakota style.
This beautiful sheath also includes a beautiful antler handled rustic knife. Both the sheath and knife are authentic. The decorative knife is new and was handcrafted by a Pueblo Indian artist especially to be offered with this vintage sheath. This traditional rawhide knife sheath is of such high quality that it is a rare piece to find and the type that would be seen only in museums today.
