This is an authentic southwest style Zapotec place mat, hand woven on a traditional loom. Each Zapotec table mat is an original, the only one in existence. Hand Woven by the famous Zapotec Indians of Oaxaca in Southern Mexico, descendants of the ancient Aztecs, the Zapotec designs and colors have been handed down for generations and each one is unique. There are no two Zapotec weavings exactly alike.
